The new Wi-Fi + Bluetooth mesh architecture makes the WiZ platform more flexible and reliable,
which is why we call it ROBUST. Tasks can be worked on and upgraded separately without
impacting other tasks. This new platform will be rolled out from Q1 2021 onwards.
Some of the existing WiZified products will be upgradable to ROBUST
via OTA update around then.
ROBUST, allowing pairing and OTA update through Bluetooth mesh. Seamless pairing, firmware update of devices, and control out of Wi-Fi coverage.
Full control of devices temporarily or even when permanently disconnected from Wi-Fi, thanks to seamless mesh propagation. Even if they're far away from your router, they will find a way to be connected.
Rest assured that the schedules you've set for your lights will still work even if Wi-Fi is down.
Middle BUS fault-tolerant architecture for WiZ 2.0 platform will manage lamp to lamp propagation via BLE Mesh, Wi-Fi Mesh and proprietary WiZ RF propagation mechanisms.
Lamps that are temporarily or permanently disconnected from Wi-Fi will be able to receive messages from other lamps, and firmware updates from a smartphone.
